This will allow you to buy an Eagle and lots of weapons and you can start bounty hunting (which is awesome). Max out the cargo space in it and you can buy some mining gear or haul even more cargo and do bigger hauling missions. Sotti, just go to a spaceport that looks like it does a lot of commerce and do some easy hauling missions until you can afford a Hauler ship. You can feel the size of objects and how far away from you they are.
The sense of scale you get when you fly up next to a large asteroid, planet, star, or space station can't be compared to any flat screen. You can tell the developers took great care in implementing the DK2 because it works so well and allows you to feel very comfortable in the cockpit. I am a little disappointed in the lack of DK2 support, but we still have quite a while until the first Squadron 42 mission and the dogfighting module got pretty boring pretty fast for me.

Star Citizen is probably the most ambitious PC game ever conceived, so it is going to take some time to get there. At the end of the day it's going to come down to which one you like the. The Constellation won't be in the miserable state it's in forever. The Corsair's a bigger target, but has a much better interior. The Corsair has more direct-fire weaponry, the Constellations have more missiles. I know it's way at the bottom of their list, but it seems like they should have the resources and it would be a perfect match to the kind of realism they're trying to achieve with it. Without any sort of Quantum drive it's not much of a scout. It's a shame with all of the people on the Star Citizen project, plus Chris Roberts' own enthusiasm about the Rift, that they don't have native support for it.
